Company Profile

Edward Repper is the founder and managing partner of ERP Actuaries & Consultants. The firm was founded in 2002 when he left the position of vice president USI Consulting Group. The client base of ERP Actuaries & Consultants includes both defined benefit and defined contribution plans and includes both qualified and non-qualified plans. The firm’s client base ranges from small to midsize for profit and not for profit business and includes schools, small business, law firms, medical practices and other professional practices. In addition to his management duties with the firm, Mr. Repper is also responsible for new business, plan design and is the lead consultant on many of the clients of the firm.

Mr. Repper received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1991. He later joined Williams Thacher & Rand as an actuarial analyst. Williams Thacher and Rand was a large regional firm that specialized in law firms and not for profits as a large part of its clientele. For two years, commencing in 1996, Mr. Repper joined the firm of Milliman & Robertson before rejoining Williams Thacher and Rand. With a staff of 3-5 Actuarial Analysts, he managed a client base that ranged from not-for-profit organizations to banks, law firms and other professional partnerships. In both organizations, he was the lead consultant for most of his clients, and was responsible for managing the day-to-day administration associated with the retirement plans that were sponsored by his clients. These include Funding & FASB valuations, preparation of IRS Form 5500 and PBGC filings, and general consulting. Mr. Repper has extensive experience in retirement plan design and plan implementation which include both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Mr. Repper had successfully passed several examinations administered by the Society of Actuaries, satisfying the examination and admission requirements to obtain the designation of Enrolled Actuary in May, 1999. Mr. Repper has spoken on a number of topics in front of many organizations, including the Enrolled Actuaries Meeting held in Washington, D.C. He has provided actuarial services and supporting expertise in the negotiations between labor and management related to retirement plan benefits. Mr. Repper has acted in support of, and has provided expert testimony for a number of legal cases and bankruptcy proceedings that have involved pensions and life expectancy. These cases included pension plan asset purchases, bankruptcies, divorce proceedings and issues related to restricted lump sum payments.

Jon Gregurich is an Actuarial Manager at ERP Actuaries & Consultants. He has over fifteen years of pension and actuarial experience.

Prior to joining ERP, Mr. Gregurich was an associate with USI Consulting Group (formerly WTR). At USI, with a staff of 3-5 Actuarial Analysts, he managed a client base that ranged from not-for-profit organizations to banks, law firms and other professional partnerships. In that capacity, he was the lead consultant for most of his clients, and was responsible for managing the day-to-day administration associated with the retirement plans that were sponsored by his clients. These include Funding & FASB valuations, preparation of IRS Form 5500 and PBGC filings, and general consulting. He currently manages the day-to-day operations of the Defined Benefit Department. Mr. Gregurich also has experience in retirement plan design for both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Mr. Gregurich has successfully passed several examinations administered by the Society of Actuaries. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Cynthia Ramo, QPA, QKA, is a Manager of Defined Contribution at ERP Actuaries & Consultants. She has several years of pension administration and consulting experience. Ms. Ramo has satisfied the examination and experience requirements to attain the designations of QPA and QKA as a credentialed member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Prior to joining ERP, Ms. Ramo was an associate with Associated Pension Consultants, Inc. In 2008 Ms. Ramo joined ERP Actuaries & Consultants and currently manages the day-to-day operations of the Defined Contribution Department. Her current responsibilities also include the management of the day-to-day administration associated with the retirement plans that are sponsored by her clients. These include plan implementation, discrimination testing, calculating contributions, preparation of annual valuation and preparation of IRS Form 5500. Ms. Ramo has also provided plan design and general consulting services for financial advisors, insurance companies and directly with small and large businesses.

Ms. Ramo has graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Information Systems from The Sigmund Weiss School of Business at Susquehanna University.

Lisa Alt, QKA, is a Supervisor of Defined Contribution at ERP Actuaries & Consultants. She has several years of pension administration and consulting experience.

Prior to joining of ERP, Ms. Alt was an associate with Associated Pension Consultants, Inc. Her current responsibilities include the management of the day-to-day administration associated with the retirement plans that were sponsored by her clients. These include plan implementation, discrimination testing, calculating contributions, preparation of annual valuation and preparation of IRS Form 5500. Ms. Alt has also provided plan design and general consulting services for financial advisors, insurance companies and directly with small and large businesses.

Ms. Alt has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology from The School of Arts, Humanities and Communications at Susquehanna University.
